Dubai has 2 runways, 12L/30R & 12R/30L.
All departing traffic will be assigned runway 30L or 12 R for departure. All arrivals are to runway 30R or 12L (depending on the wind direction)

To all Pilots who booked a flight, please indicate in your F/P Remark that this is a booked flight and your EDT or ETA. This will give you the priority for CLR and DEP and in the same time when you are arriving.
All pilots are requested to connect at the gate as assigned to your flight. After all necessary pre-flight checks and FMC loading, contact Dubai Delivery OMDB_DEL (118.150) who will then issue you your clearance for the flight.

After your CRL. You will contact GND for start up and taxi to holding point. Upon or before reaching the holding point, you will be transferred to TWR.
All departures have to contact Dubai Departure after Take-off (passing 500ft) or by ATC transfer. Contact Dubai Departure with:
Initial climb altitude for all departures is 4000ft.
Speed restriction: Maximum 250 kts IAS below 8000ft
Transition altitude (TA): 13000ft

When arriving into Dubai, you will be handed over to Dubai Approach (OMDB_APP)(124.900). You will be cleared to one of the arrival gates depending on your arrival Star BUBIN , DESDI ,MAXMO,MIADA . From here you will be provided vectors to the runway for an ILS approach.

Please Follow the speed schedule of 220kts within 30miles and 170kts within 15miles or as specified by ATC. If there is lot of traffic you will have to hold at one of the entry gates as mentioned in the charts( DESDI or BUBIN). You may be advised to descend in the hold. Once you have landed, vacate the runway as soon as possible and advice tower.
Please refer to the ground charts onboard as you will be given specific taxi instruction to the gate.
In case of heavy traffic, expect to hold over DESDI & BUBIN as follows:

All pilots must follow the routes from the route database to avoid any delays and conflicts. All the plans have been updated in Flight booking/plans. Maintain the slot time given to you for pushback/startup. Expect a lot of traffic so carry extra fuel for holding. Log in at least 15mins prior to your slot time to be able to anticipate, for departures, time required for flight plan clearance and taxi.
