Clearance Delivery (SKBO_DEL)
Initial contact for departing aircraft will be with Clearance Delivery. Clearance Delivery will give a clearance including: Destination, SID (no vectors), FL, runway for departure and squawk code. After clearance is given, aircraft must be transferred to SKBO_N_GND for aircraft departing northbound and SKBO_S_GND for aircraft departing southbound.
Ground (SKBO_S_GND and SKBO_N_GND)
All aircraft have to request pushback and engine start after they have received clearance. Ground clears them to the runway assigned by Clearance Delivery. Before reaching the holding point, aircraft need to be transferred to tower.
Tower (SKBO_S_TWR and SKBO_N_TWR)
Tower will give aircraft takeoff/landing clearance.
SKBO_S_TWR for runways 13R-31L
SKBO_N_TWR for runways 13L-31R
Approach (SKBO_S_APP, SKBO_N_APP and SKBO_C_APP)
Traffics start their approach and enter Bogotį TMA at FL240. All traffic entering from the south will contact SKBO_S_APP on 119.65, and traffic entering from the north will contact SKBO_N_APP on 121.30.
On initial contact, the approach controller will generally advise the pilot which route or STAR to follow and which runway to expect for landing.
Traffic will proceed as instructed by ATC will then contact Bogotį final approach SKBO_C_APP on 119.50.
Departure
All southbound departures will be handled by SKBO_S_APP, and northbound departures will be handled by SKBO_N_APP.
Speed control
Arriving aircraft will maintain 250KIAS or lower when below 18000ft AMSL.
The maximum speed when reaching BOG VOR is 200KIAS unless instructed otherwise by ATC.
Departing aircraft will maintain maximum 230KIAS until reaching the first FIX in the SID.
Center / Control (SKED_S_CTR and SKED_N_CTR)
Bogotį center controls traffics from FL240 upwards. SKED_S_CTR handles traffics flying inbound and outbound south of SKBO and SKED_N_CTR does the same for traffics north of SKBO.
Colombia also has the Barranquilla Control, in the north coast of Colombia the boundary with the Caribbean Sea. It will also be active for the event.
