Runways
Default runways:
09 (9843 ft/3000 m) & 10/28 (11483 ft/3500 m).
Runway 09 is used for takeoffs only (lights & mediums aircraft and is the preferred takeoff runway for national traffic).
Runway 10/28 is for Departures & Landings (Preferred for international traffic takeoffs)

Runway´s 09 and 10
1MARES - Climb on 082 hdg, at 750 ft turn left hdg 292, intercept & proceed via MIQ R-319 to 4000 Ft to MARES. Continue climbing according to ATC instructions
2OSMAR - Climb on 082 hdg, at 750 ft turn left, intercept & proceed via MIQ R-085 to OSMAR. Continue climbing to 4000 ft and according to ATC instructions
2DARPA - Climb on 082 hdg, at 750 ft turn left hdg 002, intercept & proceed via MIQ R-024 to 4000 Ft to DARPA. Continue climbing according to ATC instructions
3REKON - Climb on 082 hdg, at 750 ft turn left hdg 317, intercept & proceed via MIQ R-353 to 4000 Ft to REKON. Continue climbing according to ATC instructions
2MAIQUETIA - Climb on 082 hdg, at 750 ft turn left hdg 317, intercept & proceed via MIQ R-353 to 4000 Ft. Continue climbing past REKON to D25 MIQ (CBC R-303). Then a climbing right turn to 11000 ft inbound on MIQ -012 or in accordance with ATC

Clearance Delivery
All aircraft are handle with their clearance. Destination, SID (no vectors), FL and squawk code. They are advice from the active runway and then have to be transfer to Maiquetia ground.

Ground
All aircraft have to request pushback and engine start after this; they are cleared to taxi to the assigned runway (09 or 10). When reaching the holding point they are transfer to tower.

Preferred Taxi Routes for departures:
From National/International and west cargo terminals:
For Runway 09 via centerline and taxiways Hotel Delta. For Runway 10, via Centerline and Taxiway Alpha.
From East Cargo, General Aviation or VIP terminals, for runway 09 via taxiway JULIET. For Runway 10 via taxiway Echo (prior to crossing authorization) Foxtrot and Alpha.

Tower
Aircraft have to receive their take off / landing clearance.
SVMI_TWR for all runways (10/28, 09), after takeoff the traffic is transferred to SVMI_APP for departure radar control.
Traffic is handed to SVMI_GND after the runway has been vacated.

Approach
Traffic starts his approach and enters Maiquetia TMA below FL195 have to contact Maiquetia Approach on 120.1. He continues with his approach procedure, or Vectors. And then we will contact SVMI_TWR 118.1 once the traffic is established on Localizer.

Departure
Departure ATC service is handle by SVMI_APP, the transfer to Maiquetia Center (128.5) is done if one of these conditions are met:
Above FL195 or D54 of MIQ VOR

Speed control
Aircraft have to maintain 250 knots or lower when below 10000 ft.
You can only exceed if requested and the ATC approves.

Center / Control
Maiquetia center is in charge of Venezuela FIR, this center is divided into 6. If there is not high amount of traffic, there will be only 2 (1 sector for all the west part and the other for the east).
