To let the event be as real as it gets please read the following regarding instructions when flying to/from Cairo International (HECA)

HECA has 1 runway active( rwy 05R-23L is-in real-closed due to maintenance, but we could open it if we encountered heavy traffic) :

• 05L (ILS .Freq/Course - 110.90/047) / 23R (ILS.Freq/Course – 110.30/227)

• Runway Dimensions, (10830 x 197 Feet, Asphalt)

• (in case if we open it) 05R (ILS Freq./course- 109.90/047) / 23L (ILS Freq./Course-109.50/227)

• Runway Dimensions, (13120 x 197 feet, Asphalt)

• Airport Elevation 382 Feet

• Inbound Traffic:

There is NO STAR available, so please Follow ATC instructions & Keep speed NOT Below 200 knots while establish, Reduce on while Descend on the Glide

slop, your establish Altitude should be 2500 feet for both Runways 23R or 05L, or the speed will be instructed by ATC.

• Outbound Traffic:

There is NO SID available, expect radials for departure (Radials map in Page 4), so Please Follow ATC instructions, if the takeoff Runway is 23R, expect

immediate turn to Heading 280 if heading North bound, or Heading 180 if South Bound, the ATC will instruct you, Don’t forget to perform the Initial climb

from ATC instructions.
