Ground (OSDI_GND)
Ground position is
responsible for clearances and taxi/gates management, aircrafts must be
transferred to Tower before reaching runway holding point. Have in mind that
clearances mustn’t contain SIDs.
Tower (OSDI_TWR)
Tower controller
controls runway (Take offs and landings), traffic hands off to Approach must be
done below or at 5000ft if departure, and to Ground controller when vacating
after landing. Tower is the responsible for ATIS Changes.
Approach
(OSDI_APP)
Arrival procedures:
Damascus Approach
handles traffic at FL150 (TL) in 60 nm range out of DAM, expect radar vectors to
ILS or holdings if necessary. Hand offs to Tower when established on ILS.
Departure procedures:
Aircrafts are
taken at 5000ft (RWY Heading), and sent to FL160. 250kts IAS Max Speed below
10000ft.
Control (OSTT_CTR)
Control manages
traffic from FL160 upwards and also cruising traffic crossing Syrian airspace.
