Introduction
The IVAO Events Department is pleased to bring you the IVAO 10 Year Anniversary Celebration. The 10 year celebration is almost an entire week of crowded skies events spanning the world with a different area of the world as a focus for each day of the event. For a complete list of the days and what areas will be staffed when, please visit the links in the menu to scheduling and staffing.
When will the various areas be staffed?
As every area is in a different time zone, staffing will vary from area to area. As a guideline to "local times," we have prepared the following chart based upon 1800 local time spanning as many timezones as possible:
→ Europe - 1600Z-1800Z
→ Asia - 1000Z-1230Z
→ Africa / Mid-East - 1500Z-1800Z
→ North America - 2200Z-0200Z
→ South America - 2000Z-2300Z
→ Oceania - 0500Z-0700Z
How can I join this event?
First of all, you have to be an IVAO Member (Click here to join us now).
Then :
→ You wish to fly as a pilot:
Just choose your departure and arrival airport from the list of airports in the staffing list, and select your favorite flying machine (Aircraft, Helicopter, Ultralight...)
Note: You can start from (or arrive at) an uncontrolled airport but you may not benefit from a full ATC service.
→ You wish to control as an ATC:
You will have to contact the staff of the division you want to control in so that a position can be booked for you...
Note: We would prefer to only see as many major airports open as possible first followed by smaller airports. Also, coordination between divisions is a key (especially in larger divisions) to ensure a continuity of service for pilots.
