News Release “IvAc”, IVAO’s New ATC Client replacement for ProController is Released!
The International Virtual Aviation Organisation, IVAO, is pleased to announce their new ATC Client, named “IvAc”, was released to the members of IVAO today. This new ATC client, which will replace ProController, has many new features which includes:
- An improved CommBox with Menu Tabs
- Visual representation of the Flight Plan filed by the Pilot
- Increased detail of Sector Files
- Cleared Altitudes/Flight Levels by ATC
- Automatic and structured ATIS generation
- Improved Screen and Text Graphics
- Transparent Flight Strip Box, Arrival and Departure Box, and CommBox
- Automatic Server Locator and Team Speak Voice Channel Setup
- Full-screen radar display with (optional) moveable dialog windows
- The ProController sector files are still used in the first release for compatibility reasons
- Fast zooming using mouse wheel or function key
- Fast panning (dragging) of the map
- Four (4) customizable zoom positions (function key or button)
- UTC clock that is moveable on the PVD Screen
- QNH and current winds display
- ATC online window – with filters
- Button bar for the “most used” functions
- Basic label for aircraft that are not under your control
- Extended label for controlled (assumed) aircraft
- Fast label positioning (only using 1 mouse click!!)
- Label line length customizable
- Speed Vector line length (time lines) customizable
- All windows on Plan View Display can be hidden – (max view)
- Fast color changing using pre-defined user color profiles
- Save/Load Controller profiles for quick position setup
- Support for squawk IDENT
- Tab highlights indicating new “incoming” message
- 1 primary frequency – 2 secondary
- Separate “Guard” freq tab
- Separate primary ATC freq tab
- Separate msg tab for system information
- Separate tab for each private chat channel
Included with the IvAC client is a user-friendly Instruction Manual, which is currently available at IVAO’s Main Headquarters website, in the Training Departments Tutorial Section.
