FSD

FSD is the server software in use by IVAO. It allows you to enjoy flying on the network, i.e. the software makes sure ATC can see pilots, that pilots can see other pilots etc. The software was originally developed by Marty Bochane, at the current moment Kenny Moens is the maintainer of the FSD server software.

 

The newer versions of FSD, which allow internet connections, are not publically available. It is provided, in a LAN-only version upon request only. This request, with motivation, must be send to softdev@ivao.aero.

 

The usage of IVAO FSD software to setup servers which accept internet connections is strictly forbidden.
