There are some special aviation-related dates in each country. When it comes to Iran and the Air Traffic Controlling field, the most important one is the death of Mr. Mohammad Ali Romina while he was controlling in Mehrabad Radar controlling position on 9th June 2009.
The IVAO Iran division would like to revive Ali Romina's memory on 9th June 2017 by a "Tehran Fly In/Out Event" from 12:30z to 15:30z. So we want to invite all of the beloved IVAO members, Iranian or non-Iranian, to participate in this event. You can fly to/from any airport of the Tehran TMA (preferably Mehrabad OIII), from/to any airport you want.
