IvAe v0.8.0 "The Eye of IVAO" is released
as Public Beta at the IFC Conference in
Blackpool. Thanks to the Software Development
Group and to Erwin and Filip who made
presentations at this conference.

after 3 years of dedicated work, and has been
awarded the Medal of Honor.

After five years as VicePresident
of IVAO, our friend, Erwin Lion,
has left all his positions in our
organization.

Erwin was one of the IVAO founders,
and during these years has been the
most important person in the structure,
as Network Administrator, Webmaster,
Databases Administrator, IVAN and voice
servers owner and as Vicepresident.

We want express here our thanks to
him for the impressive work he has
done for IVAO, and for his continuous
support to all people in any way.

IVAO HQ is proud to announce that we
have decided to switch from Roger
Wilco, to a new voice software Team-
Speak. The Switch will take place,
Wednesday the 15th at 1200 Zulu. This
New client can be found in the
Sofware section of www.ivao.org

We have appointed some new senior
staff members. Please welcome the
new Asst. Database Administrator
Marcus Schneider. Also a new staff
members in the members dept has
been appointed. Sebastien Bountry,
has taken on the role of Members
Advisor.

We have had a couple senior staff
changes as well. Gustavo Hernandez
has left the Membership Asst. Dir
position, and has moved to IVAO's
Asst. Webmaster. Ingo Richardt has
moved from Members Advisor, to the
position of Membership Asst Dir.
Also, the old IVAO Asst Web Master,
Andre Becklas has moved to the IVAO
Events Dir postion. Congrats to the
new Senior staff, and to the staff that
have moved position. We know they
will do excellent jobs!

In the near future, IVAO will be moving
the Newsgroups to the IVAO Forum, located
at forum.ivao.org. With this improvement,
and a single section for questions, we
hope to improve the response time.

Operations Director and Assistant Director.
The SOD is, Hubert Giraud, and the Asst Dir is
Kevin Schultz. Both have been around for awhile.
