What happens when a lot of passengers are travelling on the same route? It becomes a golden route! The world's busiest international passenger route goes to Hong Kong to Taipei in 2017, with over 450,000 passengers throughout the year, carried by large jetliners in almost 40 flights per day. This time, you get the opportunity to fly this one and a half hour flight between the two large metropolitan and crowd the airspace. Get ready to be well separated with your preceding flight which may just be a few minutes ahead of you!
The whole event will be on 13 January 2018, from 1200z to 1600z.

IVAO Nordic Region has now been a part of the IVAO Network for three years and of course that requires a celebration.
Last year when we celebrated our 2nd birthday we had 2 countries, 2 airports and 2 runways.
However, we have grown bigger since last year.
Now that we are turning 3 years old, let's have 3 countries, 3 airports and 3 runways!

17:00 - [XG] Dubai Single Runway operations
Due to much needed maintenance Dubai (OMDB) will be reduced to a single runway January 13th 17z-20z. At the same time the essential maintenance will be carried out on the ILS system. Pilots and controllers will need to pay extra attention and rely on RNAV (GNSS) approaches. Bring your wings on Dubai and enjoy the full ATC coverage!!!
