IVAO presents its premier event ?Crowded Skies 8? on December 18, 2011. This record breaking unique event sets the entire IVAO skies alive and active. During this event, you can expect full traffic around the world, live Air Traffic Control, arranged flights between divisions and more. The previous edition of Crowded Skies had more than 2.303 (!) simultaneous connections at a point of time and over 9,600 flights during the entire event, which is a unique record.

On Sunday, December 18th, as part of the IVAO Crowded Skies 8 event, the Bulgarian, Romanian and Hungarian Divisions invite all pilots to a triangular airbridge between Sarmellek (LHSM), Cluj (LRCL) and Gorna Oryahovitsa (LBGO).

The Austrian and German division of IVAO are pleased to announce the Vienna (LOWW) <> Hannover (EDDV) Shuttle Event! The event will take place on the 18th December 2011 from 18:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC during the Crowded Skies VIII. ATC is arranged for both airports.

In combination with the IVAO Crowded Skies event, the Dutch and Danish divisions invite you to a shuttle between the main airports of each country.
Both Amsterdam - Schiphol (EHAM) and Copenhagen - Kastrup (EKCH), along with the en-route sectors, will be fully staffed during the peak-hours of the crowded skies event. Pilots can fly in which ever direction they want. If you like being number 4 on the ILS and enjoy the rush of flying through some of the most crowded airspace in Europe then this event is for you! On 30 November the EU decided that the citizens of the some former Yugoslav Republics among which Serbia will be able to travel without visa to the Schengen area as of 19 December 2009.
In order to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of this visa liberalization, we organize, particularly on behalf of the Serbian pilots, an airbridge between Brussels and Belgrade on 18 December 2011 from 19.00z on.
